Solution

Guide to Your Ticket Home is an extension of the project “Ticket Home”. Using my background, I developed aguide for others to remind them of their respective “Ticket” home. Through exercises such as memory, emotions, and values, target audiences are then reminded that their home is near. 

Anticipated Impact(s)

 This journey of introspection and connection not only resulted in the creation of an emotionally engaging guide but also transformed my understanding of empathy, cultural identity, and the power of storytelling in design. This guide will help those confused about the past, and where to go for the future. 

Using my background, I study traditional Indonesian craftsmanship, particularly the Plangi resist-dye technique.



It’s a moment of self-discovery; how this technique represents my culture as an Indonesian and the patience embedded within me as my “ticket home”. 









Observing trends in other publications, I noticed they are all minimalistic and typography-focused. I wanted this publication to be an ode to my Indonesian heritage: envoking a vintage style of advertisements from our past.
