Solution:  HomeCall

The HomeCall Experience Through a network of outposts embedded within immigrant communities worldwide, the HomeCall Project invites individuals to share their most poignant and personal memories of "home." These stories, captured through the intimacy of sound, become the project's lifeblood, revealing the intricate tapestry of human experience that transcends borders and cultures.

Participants are gently prompted to share their "ticket home" – the emotional, sensory, or narrative threads that transport them back to the essence of home. As these stories unfold, they are woven into a living archive, a global symphony of voices that celebrates the diversity of human experience while underscoring our shared yearning for belonging.

The HomeCall Hub: A Sanctuary for Shared Stories

The culmination of this journey is the HomeCall Hub, a immersive and inclusive environment where these curated stories are showcased, inviting visitors to embark on a profound journey of empathy and understanding. Within this sanctuary, the tapestry of human experiences unfurls, weaving together narratives that might otherwise remain untold, unheard, or misunderstood.

Anticipated Impact(s)

By sharing and listening to these deeply personal stories, the HomeCall Project aims to combat the alienation and disconnection that often accompany the global experience. Through the act of storytelling and the act of bearing witness, participants develop a profound empathy for the diverse experiences of others, fostering cross-cultural dialogue, understanding, and a shared sense of belonging that transcends geographical boundaries.

In a world where the concept of "home" is ever-evolving, the HomeCall Project seeks to weave a global tapestry of connection, one story at a time.
